Ever since 1921 we have been creating high quality wines, representing an impression of the landscape and its people. There is little more wonderful than the feeling of having discovered something new, and yet even more so is to realize that we have rediscovered the aromas, colors and flavors that were once so dear to us. Kapela wines mirror a tradition that is rooted in our subconscious and, at the same time, open a window on the new, everyday world in which we live. Being natural, rich, sincere, vivacious and mature wines, they are the key towards new experiences of our primary nature.

IN THE ARMS OF VINEYARDS
Like sanctuaries, vineyards are among the oldest proclaimers of our civilization. There are proven wine growing regions in Kapelske gorice, and the best among them is a hill named Kapela. Originally, there was a chapel there and on its site today stands the St. Magdalene Church surrounded by the noble Noah’s garden. This area was also the home of aristocrats who appreciated noble wines. Hence, amidst the pristine landscape selected vine varieties have been flourishing since ancient times and the climate, soil and weather conditions are all particularly favorable. Here lies the Kapela wine cellar.
